When you attend government meetings, you see how decisions are made, who influences them, and what drives the policies shaping our city.

Public meetings in San Francisco are already open to you—our free 30-minute training helps you turn observations into insight. No experience needed.

Online trainings are the first Tuesday of most months from 12:00–12:30pm PT.

LWVSF Observer Corps

Observing government meetings is one of the tools we use to educate ourselves and the public about our advocacy areas of focus, including policing practices. If you agree to a few standards, you can volunteer as an official League Observer.
