Speakers bureau

Looking for unbiased information about local ballot measures to share with your community? LWVSF can speak to your school, company, neighborhood association, religious organization, or other group.

We can help people in your community be informed voters

Our presentations are objective and present opposing points of view. They're designed to give voters the nonpartisan information they need to make up their own minds. Presentations can be tailored for first-time voters.

Meeting requirements

  • LWVSF needs 45 to 60 minutes to make a presentation and answer questions.
  • We should be the main speaker or scheduled first on the agenda.
  • Your meeting should be from five to two weeks ahead of Election Day.
  • At least 15 people should attend your meeting. If your audience is smaller, consider co-hosting with another group.
  • Our schedule can fill up fast! Send requests as early as possible.

Optional donation: This helps cover the cost of providing this service. We recommend at least $50 for nonprofits and $200 or more for companies.
