Sometimes the voting process can feel overwhelming. That’s where LWVSF comes in. We lead the way in making the voting process less intimidating.
Your gift is critical so we can help more people confidently cast their votes in the two elections in 2024. Our outreach will include voter registration events and our trusted Pros & Cons Guide. We’ll also host forums so people can learn where local candidates stand on the issues. And, during our Ask the League call-in service, we’ll answer people’s questions about how to be a voter and what’s on the ballot.
It’s because of defenders of democracy like you that we’ll be able to accomplish all this and more this coming year. We have so much to do!
The youth vote is one of the most underrepresented in San Francisco. For our city to thrive, we need youth to be counted in our elections and for their voices to be heard. This is why we need your support to expand our Youth Council in 2024.
Next year, our Youth Council plans to expand their voter engagement model into more schools by adding additional council members and doing even more outreach.
